We old ladies...

wiseheartMeaning Mum and me. She had really serious pain in her knee for the last three days; so much that she finally gave in and took some painkillers today. Painkillers did their job diligently, and she's back to her normal, daily level of pain. She got so exhausted from all that hurting that slept all afternoon after the cleaning lady left.
I feel better today, but since this was the day of our usual cleaning frenzy, I am fairly tired as well. That's what you get for growing old. *sigh*
I did a tiny bit of crafting today: added some more embellishments to one tag for the baby book and made another one. Not much, but every little bit helps. Tomorrow promises to be another hectic day, but I have high hopes for Wednesday, when I intend to do some quality crafting; perhaps even some baking. meathiel's marzipan and pineapple cake for some time, but there was always something more urgent. Mum loves pineapples, though, and after her ordeal she deserves a bit of spoiling, right?
