I had to go to the bank and the post office today, which both are situated in the Savoy Park shopping centre. Just like three shops that sell craft supplies (among other things). One of those, Tedi, had several large boxes full of stuff they had on offer for the equivalent of one Eurocent per item! Among them iridescent pearls that cost twenty times as much under normal circumstances! Needless to say that I jumped at the opportunity and bought the pearls. And the needle-tipped felt pen. And the felt flower garlands.

And since I was already there, I also bought some stuff for the full price, because I'm slightly obsessed with craft supplies. Even so, it was a bargain, despite the somewhat alarming end sum. Especially as I bought even more stuff, for even higher price in the crafty corner of the Auchan supermarket. Yeah, I know. I'm hopeless.

That took me all morning, so no actual crafting (or writing) was done today. I'll go back to the YouTube vid from yesterday, to make notes for the baby-book-in-planning. I also need to visit the online flyers of Aldi and Lidl to see what will be on offer, starting tomorrow. The plan is to go there early, so that I can save something from the morning; of course, it's never certain that I can get up that much earlier. We'll see.

Pancakes got postponed for tomorrow, too, due to my gallivanting from shop to shop in the morning. We had carrot soup, Wiener Würstchen and fried new potatoes with a salad instead. Yay for improvising!

And the rain has stopped for the day. Of course, we have lively winds instead, which is even worse for the temperature, but one can't have everything, right?

Finally a few days without rain ahead! I am glad that hubby does the hunting for groceries, because I would not go out in such a weather for all the tea in China .

Well, I do opt out if I can, but sometimes it just isn't an option. Fortunately, today was a dry one.

Browsing craft supply shops is always a fun thing to do. Nowadays I tend not to, because I have more stuff than I can use at present, and if I need anything specific, Amazon is just a click away. I find this helps to keep my money in my bank account. ;)

I'm fortunate for not being able to master the art of online shopping. If I had Amazon just a click away, my bank account would be empty. *g*
