Mum volunteered to make chicken soup and Schnitzel today (no small feat from a 91-year-old!), so I spent the morning crafting. I've made solid progress, too: all Hello Kitty booklets have now their "wallpapers" and "flooring" applied, and I've even made the 5 identical bedroom rugs. Round ones, to use the advantage of my big motif puncher. And that of a smaller one. Yay!

A bit of writing (some 3 or 4 paragraphs) was done during the night and I added another paragraph a few minutes ago. Now all I need is a cool sentence to wrap up this chapter, and I'd have fulfilled my [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo conditions. Everything I'll write from now on will be an added bonus. If I come up with that cool sentence any time soon, that is. *fingers crossed*

As I feel ridiculously tired most of the time, I've decided to take things easy for a while. Accordingly, Easter baking will be modest. My current baking list consist of 6 or 7 kinds of biscuits: 3-4 well-known, standard recipes and 2-3 new ones I've wanted to try for quite some time. The buns and the festive cake don't count, obviously. *g*

Other than that, not much happened. We watched some telly, I talked to H. on the phone and Mum talked to her lady friends. I'll try to go to bed at a sensible time today, since tomorrow I'll have to make a food run quite early, but I'm often determined to do so (on both points) and don't manage to, so we'll see...
