My Brazil nut biscuits
Feb. 28th, 2023 07:58 pm... turned out really well. Take a look:

The questionably-looking stuff in their middle is plum jam, and they're strewn with chopped Brazil nuts. The dough was surprisingly easy to make and it behaved properly while rolled on, not to mention that the things are really yummy, so I'm satisfied with the experiment. Two more recipes to try out. *g*
I also worked a tiny bit on Baby Book #2. The page isn't completed yet, but I did about half the work needed to be done, so I'm not complaining. After cooking and baking it is reasonable progress.
Today we also had choir practice, which is always a delight. Before going to it, I went to the sewing supplies shop and bought the fabric for this felt book, which I'm supposed to make for our conductor during summer. I got a lovely unicorn pattern for the outer cover and some pale lilac for the inner one, so it will be nice. I hope. *g*
Tomorrow I'm planning to make some French brioches, plus
picowrimo starts its March session, so things will be busy in the immediate future.
