I went to the Savoy Park shopping centre today because I had to post the money for Mum's charities and there is the next best (and generally the best, even if it is smaller than a shoebox) post office in the vicinity. Since I was there already, I droppen in to the Auchan supermarket (hello, sales trap again!), after which I usually buy a coffee from the slot machine (or whatever it is properly called), to relax. As a rule, it makes very good coffee; I usually take chocolate cappuccino, which is a delight.

Only that today the machine was on strike. It simply didn't accept my coin, after which I wouldn't even dare to try my luck with the credit card. A lady sitting nearby said she didn't understand it, as she'd had coffee an hour or so previously, and maintenance had even been there in the meantime. Perhaps that was the problem? Fixing things that ain't broken?

I tried to create my chocolate cappuccino at home, and it turned out half bad, but it just didn't have the same taste. :(

Other than that, we had choir practice, which was nice, and Mum had her weekly visit from the physiotherapist, which was also pleasant. But the day was so busy that I didn't really got to do anything of importance (=things that I actually like doing). Days are getting shorter the older I am getting. *sigh*

Sorry about the coffee.
It really is funny how fast days can go. And how long they are other times.

Yeah, no coffee is always an issue worth screeching about! I’d rather miss a meal than a coffee!

It's so frustrating, when you decide to give yourself a treat, and it doesn't happen. Look at it this way...you saved yourself some money.

A shopping trip without a treat? Oh dear! We had such a coffee vending machine in school, apparently it did work only part-time, and never, when I was the one who needed coffee!

Our coffee machine at school is a supreme one; one of the very few things (other than some colleagues) that I still miss.

True, but it is still frustrating. I've scratched together the coin (the machine doesn't accept paper money), and then nothing! It's not fair!

My days have been so short, ever since Mum's accident! I don't blame her for needing considerably more help than before — she's frustrated enough about it already — but the sad fact is, my daily schedule has been pretty full for the last two years... and not with things of my own choosing, either.

Yeah, that sounds likely. :(

Mum is truly a jewel. However, it's hard sometimes, not being able to have a single day for myself.
