On Sunday mornings Mum attends to Mass via telly (Mass being sent live from one of the local churches), so I had about an hour for myself, without interruptions. As a result, I wrote about a page and finished the scene featuring Tosh, Ianto, Luke Smith and Mr. Smith (Sarah Jane's computer). The chapter is still not entirely done, and I still have a half-written one and another one that needs to be written in its entirety, but I'm happy with my progress anyway.

I also made 4 more Christmas cards, so I'm up to the proud number of 50. The rest will come one or two at a time, as the bulk of the project is thankfully done.

And I've put the finishing touches to the Funny Train page of Dani's quiet book. Lookie, lookie:

The train can be moved by the string, and the sun is fixed with Velcro, so it can be removed and hidden behind the cloud.

I also made crepes for lunch, which we ate with leftover soup ([livejournal.com profile] curiouswombat's trusted carrot and ginger one) and home-made strawberry jam. It was delicious!

In the afternoon, I talked to Ilike and Ilonka, two lovely retired colleagues. We old hags like to chat on the phone. :) All in all, it was a lovely day, with lots of accomplishments!

Thanks! :) The wheels turned out a bit too heavy, compared with the train itself, but all in all they work, so...

Thanks, but the basic ideas belong to all those talented women on YouTube. I just adapt them to my needs.

Your quiet book looks lovely! I saw an advertisement for something similar recently, it was called a sensory stimulation book, and it looked exactly like yours. It’s nice to catch up on the phone. I spoke to Mum for almost an hour this morning!

Well, mine are certainly a lot less professional than what you can get on Etsy and all those other places, but so far they were always a success. :)

Love the train page! I have always been fond of trains, especially riding on them, although the ones here in the states are a far cry from those in Europe and the rest of the world. Of course, Covid put an end to that. Your train is so cute, even has a cow catcher and a headlamp. One of my favourites!
