... or rather the front cover of it. Which I have unexpectedly finished this morning:

As you can see, it's basically the same as the front pages of Abel and Beni's books, just with hearts instead of flowers on top. But the inside will be completely different. And I might skip the seaming this time, choosing to edge the pages with blanket stitch instead. That's not yet sure, though.

Other than that, we had a quiet day, with two long, lovely phone chats with two dear friends. I made Topfenknödel for launch, and we finally finished the leftover soup, after three days in a row. Which means I'll have to think of something to cook tomorrow and don't have a clue, but I'm sure we'll get to eat. We haven't starved so far, right? *g*

The front page already looks lovely.

We made a bit pot of pumpkin soup for tomorrow's lunch as I'm working from home. So mum only has to warm it up ... Looking forward to it!

I like leftover soup, too. It's just so that after three days it gets old. ;)

Love the book cover! So colorful and detailed.

I looked up Topfenknodel. It sounds delicious. I think I would like to try making them with farmer's cheese, which the recipe says is similar to topfen.
We had soup for lunch today, too. I made a very large pot of chicken vegetable soup yesterday, with chicken, onions, celery, carrots, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and zucchini.

And hooray, I've had a nice amount of time writing today.

If all else fails, there's always eggs. The stitching on your letters is so neat!

I think I will switch to chicken soup, though Topfenknödel will definitely be on the menue, when my sense of smell will return! There´s a lot of stewed elder in the fridge!

Thank you, I'm trying my best, even though my stitches certainly aren't too even.
As for eggs, with the prices in these days we think twice before we'd crack them for an omelet. *sigh*

Topfenknödel is great. We usually have it once a week.

I hope things settle down for you so that you can get more time to write when you are inspired to do so.
