As I said yesterday...

wiseheart... it is all about balance. Yesterday was fairly uneventful. Today was very, very busy.
Getting up with 7am is early for me, since I'm a night owl and usually don't get up before 8 - save for Sundays when Mum needs to be scrubbed and robed for Mass at 9:30 on the telly, and well, we are a tad slow in these days. In any case, I did get up at 7:10 today (concession to my in-bred hating of early risings), washed my hair, took a shower and asked Mum if she wanted to do her morning routine an hour earlier or should I make the banana bread first. She voted for the banana bread, so I made that, and then we washed Mum's hair, too, because tomorrow she'll have her lady friends over for a visit and wanted to be pretty. Considering how rare visitors are, I think it was justified. :)
Then we had breakfast and I did some crafting in front of the telly, until it was time to warm up the leftovers for lunch. We had lunch earlier than usual because on Tuesdays the physiotherapist is due, and we couldn't ate after her visit since I also have choir practice on Tuesdays.
Anyway, I left for choir practice quite early to do the shopping first - Mum's lady friends are fond of a fine drop, so I had to buy some black currant flavoured vodka. Usually a 0.2 l bottle last for a year or so in our household, but I know the ladies are the more thirsty kind, so I bought a 0.5 l bottle. We'll see if something is left after the visit. *g*
Tomorrow morning I'll make some cheesy sticks of ready-made puff pastry, so that won't be too laborious. And since I won't be able to watch telly in the afternoon, I foresee some more crafting. *fingers crossed*
