I felt like rewatching The Sarah Jane Adventures today, starting from the very beginning. One episode down, many more to follow. Yes, I know it's a kiddie show, but I found, to my surprise, that I still like it. In fact, I like it better than before, probably because I don't have to deal with sullen teenagers on the daily basis anymore. *g*

It was a busy day, too. I went to the food shops and to the pharmacy today (running out of cold medicine would be impractical right now), then I did a bit of working on my felt nativity scenes in front of the telly, and cooked lunch. Following by a phone chat with my friend Evie, the day was more or less over. When did days become so short?

We are both feeling fairly well by now, thank God. I'm trying to remain careful, so that the tendency may continue. ;)

I've never even watched "The Sarah Jane Adventures", don't think it's ever been on German TV.
I should have a look if it's available on streaming somewhere ... But all DW related stuff usually is super expensive and not included in the streaming fees.

Sullen teenagers on daily basis- being retired has its advantages!

Sorry, it was the wrong comment. Anyway, I usually got all my DW stuff either from gracious friends as gifts or ordered via the English bookshop in Budapest.

TODS and I watched the Sarah Jane Adventures on DVD for the first time about ten or fifteen years ago and LOVED it! To me, at least, it seemed to be better at maintaining a consistent level of entertainment than Doctor Who, which has had both splendid episodes and awful ones over the years.

Of course, Sarah Jane was the first companion I had ever seen when I began watching DW in 1980, so she still holds a special place in my heart.

When we visited Cardiff I was very excited to get my picture taken in front of Sarah Jane's house:

Thanks. Fortunately, it was a mild thing — quite the scare, though.
