I had to get Mum's Domino card phone registered, like in every year, so I went to the Allee shopping centre where Telekom has a shop. Since I was already there, I visited the craft shop and was lucky enough to get exactly the shade of pale rose felt that I need for doll faces and stuff and that can so rarely be found.

I also visited the Lindt chocolate shop where they had the Lindor balls on sale - 20% cheaper - so I got a bit carried away with them. But they'll keep in the fridge for months to come, and the prices will only keep rising, so I consider it a good investition. Besides, who can say no to Lindt chocolate? Okay, I know some people can, but I'm not one of those.

But today's greatest achievement was the crafting frenzy. I sat down to watch Auf Streife and thought I might as well start stitching my little felt Santas together. After three episodes of the show (with cooking the lunch in the ad breaks) all 10 Santas were finished.

Here they are:

Are they cute or are they cute?

Of course, this meant that I had neither the time nor the energy left for writing, especially as I've arrived to a somewhat tricky point, but tomorrow is another day.

Oh, and I talked to H. (Little Emma's grandmother) just now. She's on her way to Lake Balaton, where her son lives with his family. Grandchild #4 is about to arrive. In fact, it could happen any moment, so we're very excited. Even though it's unlikely that we'd get to see the new baby any time, soon... considering that we haven't seen his big sister yet, either, and she'll turn 3 in a few weeks. Ah, well, we're still excited.
