No woes today

wiseheart... because the water pipe guys don't work on the weekend, of course. So we took it easy. I slept until 9am, which hasn't happened for a year and a half and was glorious. Then I worked on my Christmas felt project practically all day, as I didn't have to cook - long live the leftovers!
I decided to make the Three Kings first, and I've made considerable headway. All basic parts are cut out and taped on, and I've even sewn on the crowns of the old king. There will be some more embellishments later, but the pattern is basically done. Now I can turn to the Santas and try to work out a design that is easy and pretty. We'll see. I think I'm working on this project so eagerly because that way I can postpone the binding of the quiet book, which is a stressful things to do. For me, at least.
I even squeezed in a bit of writing, so it was a really good day.
