I went to the Savoy Park (mini) shopping centre today because I had things to do at the post office and at the bank, not to mention had to visit all the craft shops there (even though my favourite one has closed), just because. I held back heroically at the craft shops, only buying some seashell-shaped sequins and small wooden beads (for the umbrella page - long story, you'll understand when I get around to post some pictures), but then I dropped into the Tescoma shop (kitchen utensils deluxe) and simply couldn't resist the pastry cup maker.
Now, this is honestly one gadget that I absolutely didn't need. But it was love at the first sight, and I simply tackled it.
Afterwards, I also spent a lot of money at the Auchan supermarket - the trap of sales - and came home with three large shopping bags and a back ache.
Oh, and totally unconnected: Happy Birthday,
lhun_dweller! I hope you had a splendiferous day!
Also, I've finished the central motif of the umbrella page. All I still have to sew on are a few raindrops and three clouds!
