More lazy than crafty, but still...

We're still cooking in our own juices, so we decided not to do much of a cooking. Boiled potatoes with butter and cheese, a couple of cocktail tomatoes and a banana - that was all we managed for lunch. Sometimes I'm craving something really delicious, but those things are mostly done in the oven, and there's no way I'd switch that on in this weather.

But I've actually finished the mermaid page in the early hours, when temperatures were tolerable, and stitched it together with the back cover of the book. Coming up: the seaming - ungodly long and utterly boring, but it has to be done. Fortunately, tomorrow there'll be cop shows on German telly again, which is very good background noise for sewing... and it's helpful to keep my vocabulary alive.

During the pandemic I got hooked on a German cop show!!! (With English subtitles.) Namely Tatort Münster. I’ve seen a few of the other Tatorts and several episodes of Kommissar Rex, too.

Do you watch any of those? Or do you have other favorites?

I liked the original Kommissar Rex, the one with Tobias Moretti. The spin-offs aren't really my cup of tea. In my younger years I used to watch Tatort. Now I watch these semi-documentary shows where you don't really have to pay much attention and can craft at the same time. ;)
