A very crafty Friday

wiseheartToday, I got a lot of sewing done. The Big Fish Choir now only lacks one member, which I'm gonna make tomorrow, and then there will be a group photo.
I've also made good progress on the "match-the-colour" page. All 6 felt tea cups have now their decorative garlands sewn on, 3 of them have their Velcro pieces attached, and I've finished the page base, too. Lots of Velcro work are waiting for me still - the dratted things work in pairs only, so that means 9 more pieces (oh, my poor fingers), but the design itself is endearingly easy.
Not the original one, mind you. But I decied that the tutorial demanded too much unnecessary work and basically simplified the whole process. My version will be definitely more rustic but still pretty enough, I think, and I doubt that a two-year-old would really care.
I didn't have much time for anything else, honestly. I've packed the jars of beautiful apricot jam into the storage cabinet, talked to a friend on the phone and made Tütensuppe for lunch... and that was it, basically. We ate the remaining banana cookies after the soup and were content with it.
