Now, what the heck is this???
Jun. 14th, 2022 10:20 pmReally, things are getting insane in fanfiction land!

I don't understand! I always rate and tag my stories properly, this one is basically an action-adventure one, without block-quotes of episode dialogue or whatnot, not to mention has been up for 3 years! And no, I didn't get any explanation why the story got hidden!
I'm really disheartened about the whole thing. I thought AO3 was a safe place, but it seems not a tad better than FF.Net aka the Pit of Voles!
Edit: The mystery is solved
Well, it seems that my spam folder swallowed their explanation, but fortunately, they re-sent it. The reason turns out to be actually genuine: 12 years ago, when I originally wrote the story, I included parts from someone else's fic, regarding what the team ought to take with them on a one-way mission, with the intention to completely re-write it... and then forgot about the rewriting. Now I deleted the full content of the chapter where the stuff is and hope they'll have patience with me till the complete re-writing happens. I informed the Police & Abuse team about this and pray that this will be enough. *sigh*
My stupid fault, after all! I guess it was the other author or one of their fans who complained - and they had the right to do so. :(
