An involutary craftless day

I was planning to make the fish for the deep sea page today. In the afternoon, as I was cooking in the morning. For that, I needed a fish template, which I was quite certain I had in my collection - I had found the octopus, after all, which is part of the same design. So I took out my big fat ringbook of templates and spread its contents on my bed. Guess what I haven't found? Right, the fish template. Either I never had it, or I've lost or misplaced it during the years in-between. It was fairly small, so it's possible. Assuming that I did have it to begin with. Grrrr!

Oh, I had lots of fish templates in the collection, just not the one I needed. So I'll have to make one myself, which promises to be lopsided, strange and generally ugly. I can't draw really well, and I do have a problem with symmetrical things. Well, we'll see.

As for cooking, I made an asparagus and chicken stir-fry, with rice and tomatoes, of which Mum approved. So, that means I won't have to cook tomorrow at all. Yay!

I'm still very tired and easily irritated but I'm trying to better my ways. This getting old stuff really isn't for wimps!

If you want the same fish, then open the picture on your computer, increase the fish to the size you need then copy it on a piece of paper. Have done so quite often!
