The other front page, which I've miraculously finished today. As you can see, the colours mirror each other: the base colour of one book shows up as decoration on the other one and vice versa.

My fingers do hurt a bit from all that Velcro sewing, but I think the results are worth it.

Not much else was done today, save for a bit of writing and typing up what I had written. Not even cooking was necessary, as we had leftovers. I like such days. *g*

I had to smile ... that's our family name on my mum's side!

You see? I visit cafés in Vienna that bear your family name on your dad's side and make felt books with the family name on your mum's side. ;)

What a beautiful name! And the book is beautiful, too!

Thanks. :) The name has been quite popular in recent years. Another friend of mine has a grandson with the same name and an ex-colleague a grown son.

Sewing velcro is horrible — I hope you have a good metal thimble :) But it is such a good idea to velcro the letters on, and it looks beautiful.

I am eating up a three day veggie casserole too. It's great to just throw a dish in the microwave.

Well, I don't even have a microwave, but setting it on top of boiling water serves the same purpose. *g*

I rarely use a thimble, but for velcro... yes, it is a necessity.
I thought if the young mums would prefer the other one's colour combination, they can simply swap the letters. ;)

Thank you. Creating beauty in such horrible times is something I feel simply necessary.

Thanks. Despite the slightly uneven parts, I'm content with the way it turned out.

It's about the only time I use a thimble, too :)

And what a good idea for the names.
