Starting with myself, of course. It seems that our telly is OK, the remote is OK, only the batteries were dying. The ones I exchanged them for were fairly old, to, so they didn't do the trick. Today I bought brand new ones, just to be sure, and everything works like a charm. *phew!*

Continuing with another know-it-all-better from AO3. I've got there an unfinished SGA/TW/New Who crossover called Auguries of Immortality that hasn't been updated since 2015. Now someone stumbled over it and promptly found some insignificant detail that I've apparently got wrong. Honestly, I didn't even check whether they're right or not, since the whole thing has zero significance for the plot itself. I just deleted the f*cking nitpick. Such people can drive me strong, raving mad. The first review for the story since January 2021, and, of course, it has to be this!

But, there were positive things today, too. Namely, I've completed the Cat Pillow Gang. Here they are:

They are called Mikkamakka, Vachkamati, Machek Ivanovich and Miauion, respectively. The first three are from various kiddie stories from my childhood, the 4th one is, of course, from the Book of Lost Tales by the one and only Professor Tolkien.

There´ll always be people who are intent on finding fault with something literally everywhere. Those people must be very unhappy in their life and try to make the life of others miserable also! You did the right thing by deleting the comment!

*lol* @ the batteries.
I wanted to suggest that but then I thought "She surely changed the batteries."

I did! Unfortunately, I exchanged one set of old batteries for another set of aged ones!

I love the cats so much! Sorry, I have been so quiet; our household has been infected with Covid.

My sister and I are still testing negative. My son is okay, but has headaches, fevers, deep cough. It is scary.

Ah — nit-picky people, how sad for them that they have so little to do in their lives to keep them occupied and make them happy.

I absolutely love the cats.

What sweet little kitties. Yep. Nitpickers are a nuisance. Fanfic is a hobby for most writers and free for the readers, so what is their problem?

Thank you, I'm very satisfied with the way the cats turned out. Hopefully the toddler recipients will be, too.

And yeah, nitpickers really ought to get a life.

They need to show everyone that they know it all better. Even if they don't. Especially if they don't.

Cat pillows! I'm still reeling from this concept!

Ah... never read the comments as they say. :(

I must admit that a great deal of laziness was involved in this concept. I wanted the easiest design possible to both make flannel cats and waste as little fabric as possible — hence the oblonged cats that can also serve as toddler pillows.

LOVE the cats! Sorry I've been away, having some health problems — not Covid. Thanks for the nudge.
