Advent, Day 23

wiseheartNot much happened today. I did all the little tasks needed to do, so that I'd be absolutely free on Christmas Eve... except for washing my hair to be pretty when the Baby Jesus arrives. I've cooked, polished the cutlery box we intend to give my friend Evie for Christmas (yes, it's the same that inspired the similarly titled story I wrote for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
thesmallhobbit), among other things, since it's her birthday, too, cleaned out the vacuum cleaner... those sorts of things.
In the early afternoon my friend Alex called for a good half an hour, later Eenie stopped by to deliver Monica's present to us, so it was also a social day, even though the (masked) personal meeting lasted all about five minutes or so.
Other than that, I watched Kirstie's Homemade Christmas and re-runs of The Great Christmas Bake-Off - something that will be continued later this evening.
