Advent, Day 1

The official beginning of Advent brought us an unpleasant surprise: there was strong rain in the night, and the balcony is leaking again. *sigh* So we've paid an obscene amount of money for the insulation work and went through the whole bothersome process for only half a result. I am not happy.

Other than that, I've baked another three sorts of cookies - we're approaching the fancy kinds now, and I'm looking forward to the decoration.

You have to be adamant to get the balcony in order by the people who did the renovation! A refund won´t help you!

Unfortunately, it's leaking where the side window has been installed 26 or so years ago. I think it's likely that the stuff they fixed the window with has become porose in the years in-between due to the very hot sunshine we get every summer. Where the wall was leaking has been fixed, it seems... although I'm getting anxious about that, too.

It is annoying, but there was a slight possibility that it might happen. It's probably the side window, and that wasn't what they were working on.
