Triple-vaccinated
Nov. 23rd, 2021 06:56 pmMum and I walked down to the family doctor's practice today to get our booster shot. Thank God the weather was nice: dry and sunny, though a bit windy. Things were perfectly organized at the practice, we spent there half an hour altogether, including the obligatory 20 minutes after the jab that you have to spend there in case some immediate reaction might occur. Afterwards we even stopped at the small supermarket on our way which Mum hasn't seen for almost a year. She was pleased, although a bit tired after wards.
So far no unpleasant side effects have resurfaced. *knocks on wood* My arm got a bit warm and the spot of the jab slightly tender, but I iced it for 15 minutes and so far it seems okay. We'll see if it stays that way. Mum hasn't experienced any side effects so far. Clearly, she's made of sterner stuff than I am. *fingers crossed*
This took all the morning. Then we had a visit from the physiotherapist and I cooked lunch - which we'll be eating tomorrow. We are a tiny bit lethargic right now, but that's probably more due to nerves than everything else.
