Stars and angels, oh my!

So, as promised, photos of the new popsicle stuff.

My big angel with the really wide wings:



And some sparkling stars:



They might be a bit gaudy, and the blue one is definitely lopsided, but I like them nonetheless.

Otherwise, it was an uneventful day, with a bit of cooking, working on the never-ending "Pathways" timeline and delightfully lazing around. I love days like that.

They are really easy to make. Just a little trick: where the gap between sticks is too wide, I glue in a tiny piece of felt of the same colour; they hold better that way. And definitely use double-sided tape. I've tried with wet glue but it's messy that way and you can't be sure it will keep the shape when it's dried.

Oh, and I forgot to add: I bought those crystal stickers at Kik, really cheap, and they are in long lines, so all you have to do is to cut the length to match the sticks and push them on. They're self-adhesive and fairly robust.

You think so? I've been agonizing for ages before I could decide whether the wings should turn outwards or inwards. But the smaller angels all had wings looking inwards, so I thought this one should be different.
