Advanced angels

wiseheartI've tried painting the lolly sticks with acrylic paint, and these are the results:
I might have overdone the sparkling a bit but am still content with the results. The wings of the middle one are actually individual "feathers" - they were part of a gift box-making kit and I've completely forgotten about them until finding them today by accident, while looking for pink paper for the angel's back. *g*
Other than that, the Covid situation is worsening steadily.Tomorrow's big events will shoot the numbers to the skies again, but that's no reason for our fearless leader not to let himself be celebrated by his cronies. Mum and I are considering getting that third jab, after all, even though she hardly ever leaves the house and I only do so twice a week. Of course, we missed our opportunity in early summer because of reasons, so it might not be so easy now, but we'll see. It's always easy to be wise afterwards, when it's probably too late. *sigh*
There's autumn break at school next week, so no choir practice, which is probably the best right now. My friend Evie promised to drop by with a bag full of apples, so I won't have to buy them, which - considering the current prices - is a good thing.
