Because I decided that cooking for the next couple of days was a good idea.
So I made Mary Berry's Malay fried rice (with chicken meat), made ginger syrup (because it would have been a shame to throw away all the nice ginger juice left over from grating fresh ginger) to use it for the Christmas baking and made fried mushrooms (because I bought too much for the main meal).

That ate the whole morning, but this way I won't have to cook tomorrow at all and only a little bit on Wednesday.

I also made good progress with the "Pathways" timeline. I've got from 1995 to 2003 so far, and thus finished the major part of the whole thing, adding events from "Charmed" to the mix. Phew!
