We has them, yesssss, Preciousssss! Now if they'd only start on the balcony any time, soon!

I've made Topfenknödel today for lunch. It was yummy. I also made a food run early in the morning. That was enough activity for one day, so I lazed around for the rest. *g*

My young (ex-)colleague Gaby was supposed to come over today and take a look at the stuff (mostly dishes and the likes) we selected to give away, but her little son (8 months old) got a fever, so we had to postpone the visit. Ah, well, it's not like we'd have an ordered environment until next week. ;)

Thanks. I'm beginning to entertain tentative hopes concerning the balcony. ;)

That´s the problem with young children: They always tend to get sick when you have planned your day.

I know. Which is why we haven't met Little Emma and her family for over a year and a half.

New window sills sounds like they're at least working on your floor now. I bless the day they invented UPVC window frames.

Congratulations on the new windowsills! At least, now you have a bit to show for all the noise and mess. A bit of progress, at least.

Which are — what exactly? Do you mean plastic window frames?

They work really hard, to tell the truth. It's just that our building is a 200-flat, 10-storey concrete monstrosity, and it just takes time. They have at least 4 or 5 teams that work simultaneously, but even so, if they want to deliver quality work, they have to take their time.

Unplasticised PolyVinyl Chloride. Yes. I had to look that one up. :D Basically, plastic...even though it says it's un-plasticised!
