... except that work has started on our side of the building, too. It is a noisy affair; I only hope it will bring the required results.

Mum and I went to our daily walk and all but reached the church at the end of our street. That is the first place she wants to go as soon as she's able to - not to attend to Mass yet, just to get in, after a year and a half, and speak her prayers. We're almost there.

I didn't do much today. Made a food run, prepared what could be done in advance for tomorrow's lunch (Mary Berry's Panang Chicken Fry - yum!), solved some crossword puzzles and read a bit in an old Buffy fanbook (in German). Typing up the timeline to "Pathways" reawakened my interest in the various fandoms involved.

And just so that we have a picture for the day: this was originally planned to be the cover art to "The Toreador Chronicles".

Renovation works goes hand in hand with windows closed. And it usually starts early in the morning. Poor you1 Thumbs up to your mum!
