It rained last night again

... and rather heavily, at that. I was woken up by lightning and thunder repeatedly and was accordingly dead in the morning. At least the balcony behaved itself. Now it seems like it's going to rain again... joy - not. The temperatures only drop for a short time, and then the sauna effect takes place.

Fortunately, I made the food run in the morning, while it was almost pleasantly cool; mostly because today was also laundry day and I needed the rest of the morning for that. Not much else was done on my part; Mum volunteered to cook, and we had leftover soup, so it was a fairly simple affair.

I transcribed some of the "Pathways" Who's Who, but that's about the only creative thing I did today.

I wish it was warmer here, though with all the wetness in the air and the ground sauna effect might turn out bombastic! Well done, balcony! You are improving!

I managed just one load of laundry yesterday. Twenty-one degrees is not a good temp for a da to be running the tumble drier.

It rains here now every day, I guess that is a sign of the future. I am craving sunshine, and only manage to get a glimpse of it in between showers and storms. The good thing, I don't have a balcony that leaks. But, I do have a carport that floods. I think we are the only house in the neighborhood that has stepping stones inside the carport. ;0(
