After the storm
Jul. 15th, 2021 06:20 pmAfter some heavy rain and a bit of balcony leakage last night we hoped that it would be a tad cooler today. Well, it was - until about 9am; then summer returned with a vengeance. It's a good thing that I didn't have to leave the house today. All I had to do was a bit of cooking, so I had some time to order my notes for the introduction into the "Pathways" universe.
I'm planning to write an... essay? Meta? What the heck is something like this called? Let's say, I'm planning to write this... thing, with a timeline for "Pathways", a character list, a list of planned (and partially written) story arcs and the likes. Fortunately, a lot of it I've done at least a decade ago, so much of the stuff simply needs to be typed up.
The physiotherapist came today; this is the last time for the next two weeks as she's going to a holiday with her family. We'll continue doing the exercises nonetheless, even the going downstairs part. I still don't dare to do the going upstairs part with Mum on my own yet, but we can go down one level and then take the lift to come back again. *g*
I talked briefly to my friend Evie on the phone. Perhaps we'll manage a trip to the discount craft shop before the Covid rules get tightened again. Because they will, eventually, I have no doubt about that. As soon as people come back from your holidays with shiny new mutant viruses. *sigh* I want my life back!
