A quiet day

wiseheartThis was the first day in the week when no-one came and I didn't have to go anywhere, either. I forgot to set my alarm clock and slept in until 9am; that is, 35-40 minutes longer than I usually do. I am a late riser as a rule anyway, but since I rarely get into bed before 1am, I don't think I'm abnormally lazy.
So, I took this day off. I worked a bit on the inside of the front cover of Theo's cooking book, cooked a quick lunch - but that was all about my activities. It felt good just being lazy, solving some crossword puzzles while the telly was running into the background, before the usual schedule restarts tomorrow. Especially as the weather is very warm now, interspersed with short showers that make the air feel like in a sauna.
