Or is there? I'm sure my fellow paper crafters would agree.

In any case, I had to go to the Auchan supermarket today - an undertaking for its own - and I discovered, to my great delight, that their craft supply section had Stamperia scrapbook paper again. On sale. Needless to say that I grabbed one sheet of each, even of those I knew I already had at home. They are double-faced, after all, and this way I can use both sides, eventually. Yay!

So, I started with the Azulejos de Sueno mini-block, consisting of 10 double-faced sheets of 8x8 inch. This was not on sale, but since I got the rest for a third of their original price, I thought I could afford to indulge. See for yourself:

Then I grabbed this one with the vintage tags; this is one I had once already, but you can never have enough tags, can you? Besides, I've already used up sone of the original batch, so naturally, I needed replacements. Right?

This one I call the Autumn lace because - well, because it looks like lacework and apparently is part of their Autumn and Winter block:

And though I generally don't like blue, especially baby blue, these white flowers on a blue background were just too pretty to leave them behind:

This one is an interesting pattern: basically the same on both sides, just one side is red and the other side is blue. I think I had one of these once, but it's gone now, and I'm glad to have found another one.

An abundance of roses; the colours are actually a bit more vivid in real life - I found the picture on the Internet. Apparently, I'm not the only one who lacks photographing skills, but since these 30cm x 30 cm sheets are too big for my scanner, I had to find other means to show my treasures off.

The other sheets are duplicates I've already had in storage and posted pictures about earlier. Newcomers can admire them here; they have their own section on my Pinterest board.

Other than that, not much happened today. We ate leftovers (what a surprise), I had a veritable mountain of washing-up to do (the disadvantage of eating leftovers), and we're now waiting for the janitor to take a look at the leaking kitchen sink. Household appliances are a source of never-ending joy and excitement. [/sarcasm]

After everything's been said and done, I'm not sure they actually were on sale. The cashier... thingy read them with the original price. But that wasn't what was labelled on the actual shelf, so I went to Customer Service and politely asked them to check things. Fortunately, Auchan is always very forthcoming with customers, so they gave me back the difference; I'm not sure if they changed the labels afterwards, but I definitely got my papers amazingly cheap. *g*

Yay sale on fun stuff!

Water is awesome. As long as it's where we want it, and not where we don't want it. :/ Where it likes to be.

Beautiful papers! I love the Japanese type of craft paper. Back in the day I used to craft with it, now I just hoard it!

Oh dear, a leaking sink can cause serious problems when the leaking gets out of hand, so the janitor better fix it! I killled a cabinet base once by ignoring the dribble of water. which unfortunately went directly into the box with dish detergent, the combination of it "burning" a huge hole into the base. Those craft paper sheets look amazing, particularly the wintery ones!

Those papers are all so nice — I need some sort of project in mind so that I can justify buying more craft paper!

Owning them is important, too! Sometimes I take out my collection and spread them all over the place, just to admire them because they're sooo pretty!

Well, until the janitor deigns to show up we've placed a bucket under the syphon and are very careful not to pour large amounts of water into the sink. Which means I have to wander to the loo with every bigger dish to empty them, but that's a manner of exercising, too, isn't it? *g*

Explosion boxes and junk journals are always the best for that kind of work. ;)

You mean like through the balcony ceiling? Yeah, it's odd sometimes.

Lovely paper! I'm not a crafts person, but just looking at them makes me want to buy a pack. I'm going to resist, as they would just sit in a drawer forever. I do admire seeing what you create from your stacks.

Even though my heart bleeds for having to cut up all that lovely paper! *g*
