wiseheartFirst of all, I want to thank you who commented so encouragingly on Mum's first adventure outside the house. I thought it would be more proper to do it here, instead of typing "thanks" half a dozen times. You are all lovely people!

On the more recent news, I've made some solid headway with Little Emma's quiet book. Seen from the outside it doesn't seem much, perhaps, but I've worked on it for several hours and am content with the results.
I also cooked today because we ran out of leftovers. I made something akin jam from the three stone hard, outrageously expensive (and very sour) apricots I bought on Monday, just because they looked so pretty. It was enough to eat with the Topfenknödel I made for lunch. Mum was happy.
Accordingly, not much else was done today. After the abnormally warm weather in the last two days today we had moderately strong winds and even a bit of rain today. I wonder what to expect from tomorrow when food run and a trip to school (to order my eggsies) is on the to-do list. And cooking, obviously.
