We had a fairly intense cleaning session today. I was fairly dead afterwards, despite the fact that the cleaning lady did the bigger part of the work. Mum was nervous like hell that we wouldn't finish before the physiotherapist arrives. We did finish. We always do. Mum is nervous like hell every time nonetheless. *sigh*

I called a young ex-colleague I haven't heard from for quite some time. It was good to learn that she and her hubby are all right, just swamped with work. But by the time summer arrives she'll have taken her exams and their new home will be in a state that they can move in, which is great.

I decided that more therapeutic baking must be done. Not today, though. Today, I'm done in. But tomorrow I'll give Türkisches Fladenbrot a try. I still have that half-cube of fresh yeast that needs to be used up, and I've found a very easy recipe. It needs forever to rise properly, but that's okay. I'll make the dough, then I'll go to the grocer's and fetch my eggsies, and by the time I get home the dough will be climbing out of the bowl. *g* (or so I hope)

I hope you're relaxing after the intense cleaning!
Good luck with tomorrow's Turkish Flatbread project. Sounds yummy.

It is also the only sort of bread I can give a try since it only requires 200°C to be baked properly. Which is the highest temperature my oven can produce... barely.

They do, don't they? And logical arguments are of no use with them.

I'm not familiar with that one. How do you make it?

I have to admit that I am a bit demotivated now that we are cooped in and can´t move around we are used to, so I won´t be able to tell you if the recipe works for me!

This looks really appealing, too! Perhaps I'll give it a try next time. I've saved the link for all eventualities. *g*
