I've finished another Easter card today: a bunny with a basket full of eggs. There are two versions of it. This is the newly made one, following the original design to the bitter end:



And this is an older version, made a few years ago, where I changed the design considerably. I think I like my version better. What about you?



Of course, the patterned frame and the cream-coloured background do help a lot, but I find the design is more clearly outlined that way.

In other news I got a lovely e-card from lindahoyland - many thanks, my friend - made two food runs, which were exhausting (hauling flasks of mineral water and ginger ale home is not for weaklings) and we waited for the exterminators who didn't show up. That was very annoying, as I had everything cleaned out of their way in advance... in vain.

Mum's gonna call them tomorrow and have words with them. This is the second time they set us up without calling that they won't come. They used to be such a reliable bunch, I don't know what happened to them. *sigh*

On tomorrow's to-do list: getting my second jab, doing the laundry, making shepherd's pie for lunch and collapsing afterwards.

I prefer the top version of the card but both a lovely. People who don't turn up for appointments and don't at least text to explain are the worst.

Honestly, it wouldn't be any hardness. The post office is opposite the supermarket where I have to go anyway, so if you really like the bunny I'd be happy to send it to you. A bit of a personal touch in a long-distance friendship...
