Nov. 19th, 2020 05:28 pmAka ginger meringues. Because we had a leftover egg white and we try not to throw out any food as long as it can still be used. So, here are my very economical little... things. Just an egg white, 100 gr sugar, 1/2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger. Oh, and I added half a handful chopped cranberries on my own, to make them prettier... not that they'd have turned out visible, after all. *g*

Since meringues keep infinitely, I put them into a tin box and on the shelf for Christmas. We did sample them, of course, and the ginger counteracts the sweetness rather pleasantly.
Other than that, I did a bit of writing, a bit of translating, chatted on the phone with two friends... all in all, a pleasant day.
