wiseheartWell, my ducks, I'm about to turn 64 next week. So I decided that the proper way to celebrate that fact will be to throw a Hobbit-style birthday party: namely one, on which I'll be giving out gifts to my guests.
It might also help me to pull myself out of the grey phase. A good challenge is always invigorating, especially if it requires to write something short , at a close deadline. *g*
You're all cordially invited and have 2 days (tomorrow and the day after) to claim your gift.
Da rulz are:
1. Pick a fandom from the list below.
2. Give me a character and a word - something you'd like to happen or be said in the story.
3. I'll try my level best to post your story on October 9, which is the party day.
Fandom list:
1. Gene Roddenberry's "Andromeda"
2. Stargate: Atlantis
3. Battlestar Galactica (the original one)
4. Star Trek - all shows up to and including "Enterprise"; none of the movies
5. Torchwood
6. The Hobbit
7. Sherlock (BBC)
I know I write in at least a dozen other fandoms, but these are the ones in which I have at least a chance to write something quickly enough. I left out all my vampire fandoms because my "Pathways" AU ate them all and changed things so much that devoted fans would probably be disappointed.
So, let's party, people!
