And hopefully the last for a while, at least where my teeth are concerned. Mum's odyssey is starting in August - she decided to have her upper teeth replaced with a dental prothesis. We'll see if she can get used to it. Grandma couldn't.

Other than that we didn't do much today. The cruise to the dentist took half the day, and afterwards we were pretty drained.

What about your water tap?

I guess a dental prosthethis is better today than it used to be ...

At least you have a few weeks to relax.

I'm glad you're finished with the work on your teeth! What an ordeal. I hope your mum's work goes well. Sounds pretty daunting.

Neighbour lady's ex-hubby has come and repaired it - temporarily. We still have to find someone professional who overhauls it completely, but at the moment the dripping is negligable - one drop in every 20 seconds.

Hmmm.... I've heard about this relaxing. It's said to be quite pleasant... if you have the time for it. *g*

It isn't a pleasant thing, for sure, but as long as I still have teeth I ought to take good care of them. ;)

These are the kind of false teeth you take out for the night. Grandma had a set that worked for decades. Then her gums/soft tissue/whatever the correct word is, started to shrink (beyond 90, mind you) and whenever a new set of false teeth was finished, it no longer fit. After the first set she declared that she's learned to chew with her gums well enough and besides, in her age one shouldn't be so vain anymore and decided to go without teeth for the rest of her life.

Today is looking like it might be good for some. House is clean, chores are done, it's just cooking dinner in eight hours. Must be time to write.

Hee, I know the feeling. I've had so much dental work, but they're still my teeth!

I don't envy any one visiting the dentist. Necessary as they are, the visit is never pleasant.

True, but I call myself lucky that I still have most of my teeth.
