Anyway, my faithful handmaid Louise and I have finished the cherry stone pillows today... well, sort of. Two of the pillow cases are still empty, waiting for my friend Elise and her family to make their sour cherry wine, after which I'll get the stones. Lots of stones. So I may have to make more pillow cases later.
These are the currently existing ones:

They are of different sizes and shapes, depending on the fabric rests I found in my basket. They are also a bit lopsided because I can't sew in a straight line, either. Poor Louise did her best, but she couldn't do it alone.
Oh, and this is Louise, by the way (just to avoid any misunderstandings):

Finishing the pillow cases took me half the day; then my colleague Alex called and we talked almost an hour. So I only started cooking at 2pm. I made
