Dear God, it was an exhausting day!
Jun. 10th, 2020 07:26 pmI like to say that I only consider those things being work that I don't like to do. Well... today I did a lot of things I like to do and am still overworked like whoa!
In the morning I made all the page bases for Baby Book #3 and made the half of the still unfinished translation to the children's book I was working on. Then, after breakfast, I cooked turkey ragout soup with estragon and baked a cheesecake for lunch. After lunch I wrote another two scenes for Chapter 10 of "Magic Mirror", and managed to nick off during my currently favourite TV programme. Then I typed up what I'd written in the early afternoon.
My friend didn't come, after all; she managed to upset her stomach with something that didn't agree with her. Fortunately, this happens to her all the time. We rescheduled our get-together for Friday... in theory, at least. I hope we can see each other then. Perhaps it was better so; she was supposed to come around 5pm, but by then I was completely k.o. and slept in front of the telly. *g*
But at least we won't have to cook for two days. Yay!
