Chickened out again

I wanted to try this online re-registration thingy today - and chickened out in the last moment. Why I'm so deadly afraid of all this, thinking that I might make a mistake that couldn't be corrected, I have no idea, but it's developing into an outright phobia. *sigh*

Other than not doing that, I've made the hidden binding thing for Baby Book #3, cooked lunch for tomorrow, helped Mum taking down the lace curtains, since tomorrow comes our cleaning lady to clean the windows and all that, and emptied the small book cabinet on the balcony so that we can drag it into the room tomorrow. Otherwise the cleaning lady won't be able to reach the balcony window. It's a great deal of logistics involved when the flat is properly cleaned, since it's small and we have a lot of rather large furniture. Gah!

I've dug out "Magic Mirrors" and finished Chapter 8. I think I might start posting the story to AO3, soon, uploading one chapter a week. We'll see.

I talked to two of my colleagues, which was great. I'm so thankful for the phone and the internet, otherwise this hermit life would drive me strong, barking mad.

I'm not surprised. Standing in the queue for 45 minutes the other day turned me into a nervous wreck.

I have more phobias than I can shake a stick at, the biggest being storms since we have a forest of a yard. The second, riding in cars. I think because my vision is getting so bad. The newest, of course, Coronavirus. It's easy to talk myself into a phobia, much harder to talk myself out! Noteworthy today, as we are in the midst of a tropical storm with max winds due overnight :0( So yeah, we all have our hidden fears, as long as we don't let them overpower. As to your flat, any type of industrious cleaning is a pain, but so worth it after.
