More felting, more baking, and a generally busy day
Not in that order - I started with the baking, actually, then I cooked lunch - asparagus season makes the choice very easy - and finished with the felting, but who cares, right?
Anyway, the fourth Babó doll is here:

I visited five (!) craft shops yesterday until I managed to find the trimming with the pompoms, which I've wanted to try our for ages. The pompoms are a bit large for such a little doll, but I like them nonetheless. The doll doesn't look quite this crooked in real life - I don't know why do photos always emphasize one's least flattering traits. (Which is why I avoid having my own photo taken whenever I can.)
And this is the sponge cake with vanilla cream and strawberry filling:

Because it is strawberry season, too, and Mum and I like strawberries even more than we like asparagus.

The doll is extremely cute but oh my, so many stores to find that trimming. I admire you for your tenacity!

I really must come and visit you in hopes of getting a slice of one of your cakes.
This one looks as scrumptious as the previous one!
