The actual Tuesday post ;)
Today, I met E on the street to deliver the wedding card that's meant to go with our wedding present for A. We stood there with our masks on and had a lovely conversation of about 15 minutes, before we both had to go after other business. But it was wonderful, despite the circumstances.
Then I went to the Allee shopping centre (another fairly small one) because Mum wanted more Lindor chocolate balls. We still have some from Easter - we have them very sparsely, so that they will last - but Mum decided that we needed more. Therefore I went to their shop in the Allee centre and used the offer where you can take a cellophane bag and fill it with various sorts of chocolate balls. Since I managed to put more than 300 grams of them into my bag, I got them 15% cheaper. Go me!
I also visited the craft shop on the second floor and managed to buy some lovely patterned felt sheets. They weren't exactly cheap, but I still have some gift cards that I have to use up until December, so I treated myself to them. I also bought some lovely dotted white organza ribbon for the third baby book (the one for E's third grandkid) and a glass of matte white acrylic paint, since I had to learn the hard way that tempera paint won't work on cork.
I must admit that I did feel a bit uncomfortable, surrounded by so many people, even though they all wore masks and more or less kept the necessary distance. I'm almost glad I won't have to leave the house until Friday; and even then, I won't go any further than the next corner grocery.

Haha ... it's not that hard to choose 300g of chocolates, is it?

It is good to be able to talk to people - but I know what you mean about feeling uncomfortable if there are many people around.

Chocolate: Hooray for buying a bit more and getting that discount! At our house, I hid the leftover Kit-Kat and Snickers treats from Halloween, and have gotten a few out here and there when I'm craving a little chocolate. I get the Kit-Kats, Rick gets the Snickers. I hid them from Rick, or he would have had them gone in two weeks. But! He recently confessed he'd accidentally come upon the stash when he was looking in my laundry room cupboards for the scissors I keep next to my sewing box. He said he did not steal a single treat, and I believe him:) But they're almost gone now, and when they are, I am going to get something else, and hide it somewhere else as well:) One day I am going to place an order from Lindor's site, so I can try some of those amazing flavors that I have never seen here in the stores.
Crafts: I haven't gone to the craft store yet, but I think I will soon, because my little gift bags remain without handles:(
I went to the Fleet Farm (supplies for home, garden, home repair, hunting, fishing, camping, you name it) center with Rick on Saturday, and felt uneasy when we checked out. There were big spots marked on the floor to show where people should stand at a distance while waiting, but it still felt crowded. Most shoppers wore masks. The cashier stations were protected by plastic shields. But most of the cashiers did not wear masks. I thought that was unconscionable. But here, if you raise an objection with management, it seems all you'll get for a response is "If you are not comfortable, don't come here." So I won't go back there.
Stay well! Have fun with your new crafting projects!

Stores are starting to open up again here, but I have yet to take advantage. Too much of a scaredy-cat.
