On a completely unrelated note:
Do any of you use a planner? I've just come across this planner hype on YouTube and really, really can't see the point. I mean, I do have a desktop calendar where I write appointments and stuff, but why would anyone want to cover their planner with sticky flags and washi tape and tassels and all those things that make it completely unreadable?
Am I missing something?

planners are for narcissists imo. "oooh look at my planner" "oooh did you see x's planner?" ozymandias would have had a planner "look upon my works, ye Mighty, and despair!" planners are for people who like to see themselves doing lots of things. planners are mirrors, and people gaze at their reflections - oh my life is so FULL! FULL! JUST FULL I'M GOING TO EXPLODE I'm so full of it..... I'm so busy. I'm so IMPORTANT! and i'm so organised and IN CONTROL OF MY LIFE AND EVERYTHING.
whereas people who actually DO things never plan, because they're too busy doing things. spontaneously. and having fun. never thinking, just being.
planning is accounting for yourself to yourself for something you haven't done, did, will do. i'd rather be looking out the window as i have a nice cuppa and think: the sky is lovely, that bird is beautiful, the bulbs are coming up... oh an idea for something to write, i must get that down on paper................ gosh is that the time..........
so no, you're not missing anything. those who have planners are just afraid of missing something they are already missing out on.
