Some hurried crafting

I've finished the quick and easy Christmas pop-up cards. This is what the cover looks like; the red one is an exact replica of the one in the YouTube video a couple of entries below - well, as exact as I've managed to make it. The blue one is entirely my design.



And this is what they look in the inside:



As always, my apologies for the quality of the pictures. I'm hopeless as a photographer.

Off to type up some half-finished Tolkienfic now.

Oh, I think I might be able to manage these. They would be fun for some Halloween cards. :D

They are really easy to make. The clue is to cut out four identical pieces of the middle motif and glue them together before fixing them in the inside of the card. A couple of entries further down there is a YouTube video that shows you the method step by step.

I might just have to check it out. spare time is at a bare minimum at the moment, but it still sounds like fun.
