This would be quite the challenge...

... should I ever make another Christmas explosion box again. I particularly like the window in the lid, so that you can take a look into the inside without actually opening the box.

Oh, boy, I would have to think long and hard about trying this. My hat is off to you for considering it. The window is a nice touch, but it would add another layer of complexity, since it would have to look good from the top, too.

Actually, the window is not half as complicated as it looks. When I did the first ones for the Nautilus box, now that was a pain! Meanwhile I've figured out the easier methods and can do them routinely... and ruin them completely in a moment of distraction. :))

I suspect it is like quilting. I can do it in my sleep now, but when I was starting out, it was a challenge, to be sure.

The hair trigger on the ruining, though, is a bit scary. I can always pull out a seam...
