New journals

The first one is for a beloved colleague - it is a baby journal, as her second granddaughter is due to be born in December:



The second one is for my cousin's wife, who'll turn 62 in October. We're actually the same age for a total of 21 days - then she gains the advantage again. *g*

Warte bis ich Photos von der Innenseite geschossen habe! Fast 80 Spruchkarten der Maria Laach Verlag sind drinnen, meistens mit Beate Heinen Grafiken. Einen Teil habe ich in Wien gekauft, vor mehr als 25 Jahren, den Rest habe ich vom Internet runtergeladen und per hand koloriert!

Yes, it is prettier. However, the other one was the really hard task. Not only did I have to hand-sew all the pages to the cover, I also put some 80 cards into it, nearly all from the same artist. Some of them I bought in Vienna, 25 or so years ago, the majority, however, I downloaded from the Internet and coloured by hand. It was a work of love that took me two and a half months to finish.
