I've got the new modem. Things seem to work, so far.

To celebrate this fact, I've uploaded some of my original fantasy stuff to Fictionpres.com. Those who are interested and speak (or at least read) German, can find the originalversion of "Der Verzauberte Teich" Here:

http://www.fictionpress.com/read.php?storyid=623825

The first three chapters of the longer version are here:

As I mentioned in my Author's note, this was a school project that got out of control... *g*

Glad to see you're still online and haven't vanished from the face of the planet... ;-)

So am I! With chello, it's always a risky business. *crosses fingers again*
By the way, I really love your fish!

Well, you're *still* here. That has to be a good sign!

And thank you. That's me... the rebel... the valiantly upstream swimming little fish ;-)

I'm glad that the technology worked out OK. I hope you get some response to your Fictionpress stories. (I'm afraid I can't promise to understand them, as I haven't studied German for ten years, but there must be less clueless readers out there!)

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've had Russian for ten years, too. I even had reasonably good notes. Still, the only thing I remember are the numbers from 1-10 and a couple of folk songs.

Glad to hear the new modem's behaving itself!
