Boromir

If I were a character in The Lord of the Rings, I would be Boromir, Man of Gondor, proud heir to the Steward Denethor II, and elder brother of Faramir.

In the movie, I am played by Sean Bean.

Not exactly a surprise, is it?

I haven't seen RoTK here, I have to wait another 4 days!!

Um, I think Rivendell was overdone a bit at times, but I loved Frodo's bedroom and the patio they held the ring cousel on. It was mysterious and fey, just like elves though. I guess it's all a matter of taste. I adored Bag End, just as a Hobbit Hole ought to be!

I won't see RotK until *January*! We always get the movies at least a month later than anyone else... maybe it's because the dubbing takes that long, I don't know why.

And I agree with you about Bag End. Actually, the whole Hobbiton was done marevellously. I wasn't fond of Bree and the "Prancing Pony", thoguh. It was made like something the Germans would call "eine üble Spelunke". Sorry, I don't know how to say it in German, maybe Jasta or Finch can translate for you. ;)

Ugh, Bree and the Prancing Pony were plain grotty or grundy. Yucky, dirty nasty; Bree was awful. I always skip that bit when I watch the DVD, although the scene where the black rider rides down the Bree gate was awesome for that second. Nearly makes up for the rest of Bree.

Poor you, not seeing RoTK until January! I've been trying not read the spoilers, but gosh it's hard not to.
