Considering how much I hate the movies in general, it's a surprising fact that the first one made me truly discover Boromir and started me on fanfic writing in the Tolkienverse again. They added a few wonderful scenes for Boromir, which is the only reason I can tolerate at least the first movie.

That, and the exquisite acting of Sean Bean, of course. The man is truly great. I've never seen him in anything before, but he is great. I think I'll need to write some more Elladan/Boromir stuff, as soon as my muse decides to cooperate again.
