So, back again...

The reunion of Mum was quite nice - 14 out of originally 24 or so classmates were there, four or five sent word that they were ill or otherwise hindered... not bad for a bunch of 80-year-olds, I'd say. My generation won't be present in such high percentage at this age, I think.

The weather was incredibly hot, and there were other unpleasant factors that - unlike the weather - could have been avoided by giving just a little bit of attention, but all in all, it wasn't too bad. I'm glad to be back, though, and I don't really plan leaving the country until the England/Wales trip in August. Well, other than for a day to Vienna, but we'll see. I'm really glad to be home agan.

BTW, I think I've collected another fandom... yeah, as if I needed one more, right? In any case, I got hooked on "The Murdoch Mysteries" - one of the very few series that Hungarian TV shows and German TV doesn't. I love the old-fashioned air of it, and the lead actor is really good.

She was very exhausted, the poor thing, and also emotionally upset about a few things, but all in all, she was glad that we'd made the trip.

There were a few unpleasant things, like the organizator not telling us properly how much money we'd need for dinner and accomodations and stuff and we coming up short... that sort of problems.

Ugh, that sounds horrible! So very annoying, too. Now I know what you mean with bad organizations hassle which could easily have been avoided. It would have irritated me so much. I hate bad organization.

It was quite humiliating, too. It wasn't as if we couldn't afford to change enough money (neither country has introduced the TEuro yet), we just thought that what we had would be enough. Nobody expected the festive dinner cost three times the sum that it used to cost last year. So yeah, they ought to have warned us to bring more money. Having to borrow from people who might have less than we do as the rule was - unpleasant.

*hugs* Yikes! Three times last year's prices? That's not just bad organization, that's just incapability. You gotta warn people about that.

Ugh, sorry, bad organization is one of these things which can really upset me. Just watching people run around like headless chickens in an office or a shop makes me itchy XD
