I'm such a moron!

Barely is school out, and I've already lost count on the days of the week. Okay, admittedly, I've had a few tough days lately, but that's no reason to turn into a complete idiot.

Well, it's not *such* a big deal, really. But sometimes the small things are that suddenly become too much...

Anyway, Wednesday is the day of the week when I actually watch TV. Wondrous German channels find it a good idea to send all the shows I'm interested in at the same time. So, I usually record Stargate SG-1 on channel RTL2 and switch between PRO7, VOX and ZDF to watch Buffy, CSI and a German show simultaneously. Then I continue with Angel, Andromeda and Psi Factor, starting at 21.15.

It's a little hectic, but without reruns later (which used to happen last year but mysteriously aren't anymore) the only chance to see what's up in those shows. And it's quite a time-saver, as Bones McCoy said when he discovered that Tribbles are born pregnant.

But. Yesterday I managed to forget the very fact that it was Wednesday. Without the dratted school I wasn't able to realize that Tuesday was over. Now, just how idiotic can a woman become at her old age?

Hey, don't worry about it! The same thing happens to me every time school is out. I woke up today and thought it was Saturday. And attempted to watch the morning cartoons, only to stumble onto soap operas. :P

Anyway, summer does take a bit of adjusting to, but free time is oh-so-lovely. :-)

Absolutely! I'm just mad because I missed all my favourites.

I feel your pain. Exams have caused me to miss the last four episodes of CSI. *cries* In fact, I've been reading nothing but textbooks for the past month. At least I'll be going to the library today.

By the by, seeing as how you're a fellow CSI fan, who's your fav. character? :-)

My fav CSI character? Hmmm... Let's see... I think it's Grissom. He's so wonderfully quirky, and even though I something find him downright arrogant, he's the one I can relate to most. It's probably an age thing. And the fact that he leads a lonely life, too.

Oooh, he's my fav. too! :-) I think I empathize with his introverted personality. I also like Greg, the lab technician. He's just so funny, and appeals to the science geek in me.

Don't worry about it, Soledad. I'm still young, but have STM (short-term memory) frequently.
